Newsflash:

President Obama Holds the Highest Deportation Record New Statistics Revealed

obama_highest_deportationIn a shocking revelation that sent chills down the spine of all illegal aliens in the United States, it was revealed on October 26, 2011 by the Department of Homeland Security that the Obama administration succeeded in deporting 396,906 immigrants from the United States.

This is acclaimed to be the largest record ever attained by any past U.S. President in deportation. For this unwanted record, President Obama earns thumbs down from the U.S. Immigration News. It is incomprehensible to learn that the son of an immigrant from Africa will deport his brothers and sisters to earn accolades from the same people that did not vote for him.

At some point in time, immigrants complained about the aggressive deportation policy of President Bush, it is now nothing compared with what the “savior” of immigrants has done. This is a negative record for President Obama and unless he passes an immigration bill that will give immigrants benefits to assuage the pain and suffering of separated families, he will surely hear from all immigrants during the election next year.

In reviewing the record of deportations in the United States from the year 1892, this 2010 -2011 immigration fiscal year that ended on September 30, 2011 had the highest numbers of immigrants deported. Some deported for minor infractions were simply classified as criminals to justify the high number.

Statistics show that in 2000, 188,465 people were deported. In 2001, 189,026 were affected. In 2002, it was 165,168. The figure rose to 211,096 in 2003. It went higher again in 2004 to 240,665. The rising trend was maintained in 2005 as it hit 246,431deportations and another 280,974 in 2006. In 2007, this pattern peaked at 319,382. In 2008, it stopped when the number hit 359,795. In 2009, the first year of President Obama, the figured reached 395,165. In 2010, which was his second year, 387,242 people were returned to their home countries while in 2011, the record breaking massive deportation of 396,906 was accomplished.

It will be recalled that during the 2008 presidential campaign, Candidate Obama promised Comprehensive Immigration Reforms that will grant illegal immigrants in the United States pathways to citizenship. According to him at that time, this feat would be accomplished within the first few months of his administration. This has been replaced by the comprehensive deportation strategy that is being implemented. Someone must call the president to order.

It is very certain now judging from the current political terrain which is totally different from that of 2008 that President Obama cannot win reelection without the support of immigrants. It is important that we all remind the president that this current strategy of deporting fathers and husbands is not acceptable.

All immigrants are encouraged to protect themselves until this current trend abates. Do not be fooled by the news that President Obama is planning to cancel the cases of some of the immigrants in deportation. Yes, it was said, but what is happening on ground is that more and more immigrants are being issued Notices to Appear before immigration courts daily. Most of these immigrants are not criminals.

If you have any prior criminal conviction and you have a green card, please do not travel abroad without proper consultation with a qualified immigration attorney otherwise you will end up in an immigration detention upon returning to the United States.

If you have any drug conviction in the past, please do not do anything that will make the local police arrest you. Once you are arrested, you have given Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) the opportunity to place a hold on you. Once a hold is placed on you, you will end up before an immigration Judge and could end up being deported.

If you have an appointment for a green card interview or Stokes interview, please ensure that you use the services of a qualified immigration attorney because if you fail at any of these interviews you could end up before an immigration judge for removal proceedings. Be wise.
